About Us

Community Response is a dedicated team from an ambulance and hospital background we strive to give the extra support needed for our elderly community to maintain as much independence as possible. We are not a care provider, we are an independence enabler. With decades of experience in the emergency medical world, we are very aware of the increased response times that the NHS ambulance services are working with at the moment. This is due to the increased pressures placed upon them, and unfortunately these incredible heroes are only able to deal with the situations they are tasked with, based upon severity of the incident. Which leads to the headlines that we see around lengthy waits for ambulances, and the subsequent stories that evolve from there.

That's where we step in. We have a real passion for helping to relieve the pressures placed upon the NHS as a whole, and our approach is very simple. We are alerted to an activation, dispatch our duty team, and assess the most suitable pathway for them. 24-hours a day 365 days a year.

We hope to reduce the need for any additional resource, reduce the workload on the NHS, but most importantly we give the service user the best chance of staying at home and remove the need for a trip to the hospital due to a length time on the floor.
